Deep Cuts From Bloggy's Vault: 1950's Radio
The rapid onset of paranoia and post-WWII anxiety about the beginning of a Cold War with former Allies in eastern Europe and China shaped American foreign policy in the 1950's. Propaganda rarely reached the level that the ultra-patriotic "I Was A Communist for the FBI" series of radio broadcasts did. The show originated from KNX in LA. The syndicated series starred undercover agent Matt Cvetic and the clandestine and foreign led Communist Party.
