The rapid onset of paranoia and post-WWII anxiety about the beginning of a Cold War with former Allies in eastern Europe and China shaped American foreign policy in the 1950's. Propaganda rarely reached the level that the ultra-patriotic "I Was A Communist for the FBI" series of radio broadcasts did. The show originated from KNX in LA.
