Deep Cuts: Alt Rock

Elvis Costello - Armed ForcesElvis Costello is one of the most definitive rock artists in the genre. From the very beginning in London's pub scene from 1974-1976, with Less Than Zero and My Aim Is True, this computer programmer turned unlikely rock star has made decades of great albums that consistently feature his genuine charm, multitude of musical influences and unflinching approach to song-writing.

In 1979, Elvis Costello released Armed Forces featuring Accidents Will Happen, Oliver's Army and What So Funny About Peace, Love And Understanding which went Gold and Platinum - #2 in the U.K. and #10 in the U.S. in that same year.
