Screen Shots: Bullet Storm

A 5-star FPS starring Wolverine on a zomboid planet? Seen it comin' ...

Set for release this Friday (2-25-11), Bullet Storm, for X-Box 360, PC and PS3, re-invigorates FPS the exact same way that Kill Zone did by adding an extreme technical proficiency to the tired genre of shoot-em-ups.

While there is no single dramatic force, as Brian Cox did as Scolar Visari in Kill Zone I + II, the game focuses on the grunts themselves as waves of zomboids, killer plants and gigantic monsters pour out of a distant planet that the crew has found themselves stranded upon.

The game's soundtrack is one of the best I've ever seen assembled for a video game with Nine Inch Nails and Filter cuts prominently featuring in the action.
