Emi Lenox is a Portland Oregon based artist and illustrator whose genuine snarkiness is rather infectious. Her work is mostly autobiographically based with strong use of "Spoof" characters that integrate her real life crises (and there are many) with a fantasy aspect. Emi's "Town" is a very interesting place - in a goofy and warm way that sometimes contains unexpectedly sudden turns to the dramatic and profound. The Word on the web is that she's up for a 2011 Harvey Award as a result of it.
