Deep Cuts From Bloggy's Vault: Post-Rock
Vincent Gallo is the low S.O. king of independent film and music production. He is at once: roguish, intense, incredibly smart, subtle, wild and above all: damaged.
His film, Buffalo '66, strongly reflects the disconnect between Baby Boomers and their children in haunted relationships. Gallo's long musical career explores the theme of emptiness, suffocating awkwardness and lack of purpose that's genuinely felt by an entire generation of Recession choked young men and women.
