Deep Cuts From Bloggy's Vault: Alt-Rap

Doctor Steel at Doctorsteel.com
Super-villainy has been in need of a soundtrack for long enough. What do super villains really have of their own that The Legion of Doom didn't wear out decades ago?

The answer is: Dr. Steel, a L.A. based self proclaimed mad scientist who builds mechanical henchmen and (as a sideline) creates a sound like Mike Patton/Team Sleep/Handsome Boy Modeling School met Mindless Self-Indulgence in a electrified gothic crypt. His bizarre, experimental albums and eccentric style fuses hip-hop and speak easy jazz culture into a sound all of it's it own. "Back and Forth" feels what Dr. Satan (from House of 1000 Corpses, squares) is jamming in his workshop.
